General Information

The International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) aims to bring together young (PhD and early career postdoc) scientists working on quantum information science through a yearly conference.

The mission of YQIS is to give young researchers in quantum information science the opportunity to actively participate in and organise a high-quality international conference. YQIS is organised by young scientists for young scientists. Young researchers get the chance at YQIS to present their work in the form of invited and contributed talks and posters, as well as to meet their peers and a few invited senior researchers. At the same time, as YQIS is organised by young scientists, they get an early chance to get experience in organising large-scale international events and through this experience expand their international network.

The scientific scope of YQIS is theoretical and experimental quantum information science, broadly understood, including (but not restricted to)
